Reading

My reading goals: I aim to improve my understanding of English phonetics and phonology through reading Peter Roach's English Phonetics and Phonology and to enhance my reading skills overall by reading a novel. I also aim to expand my vocabulary by engaging with a diverse range of study texts. I choose the materials below, because I will use them for my further studies, except the book The Godfather, which I wanted to read because of its hilarious success.

Fulfilment of the goals: I believe, I am achieving to fulfil my goals, I improved the capacity of text understanding and also reached to capture better the laws of English phonetics and phonology, which is very useful not only in my personal use of English, but also in my professional life of an English language teacher.
