Listening

My listening goals: I would like to enhance my listening skills by focusing on understanding different accents of English. This will involve regularly engaging with various media sources such as films and TV shows from different English-speaking countries, and watching videos and listening to exercises from Outcomes textbook DVD. 

Why I have chosen these artefacts? I have selected these materials because of their variety, providing the wide range of different English accents and vocabulary.

Fulfilment of the goals: Thanks to a consistent practice with listening exercises and watching films and TV shows, I believe that I am achieving my listening goals. I dedicate a considerable amount of time to these activities, though I am exposed to a new vocabulary, different accents and real-world contexts, which reinforce my comprehension skills.
