Artificial Intelligence

  Artificial Intelligence (AI) will revolutionize the job market and make many jobs redundant. In other words, AI will steal our jobs from us and make us feel unnecessary. For example, AI developed for language education could be a perfect English language teacher. It could replace traditional teaching methods, allowing students to study at home using their personal devices, such as mobile phones or tablets.   However, AI also serves as a tool for helping the teachers to find innovative approaches to make the lessons more interesting. Therefore, it is still too early to conclude whether AI will have solely positive or negative impact, we must first learn how to use it effectively. I believe it will bring both benefits and drawbacks.

Owning a car

   Owning a car is hardly a necessity in the 21st century. It is thanks to a great infrastructure of public transportation which can easily serve us to get from a certain place to any destination. For example, in major cities like Prague there is no need to use the car. Moreover, navigating by car in such traffic causes more discomfort than using public transport like the underground or tram, which is more convenient and less stressful. 

  However, there are some places and remote areas, which are still underdeveloped in terms of public transport. In this case, we speak about rural areas and remote locations termed peripheries, where owning a car remains a necessity. From my personal experience, owning a car in urban centres may not be a necessity these days, but it is a necessity for those living in peripheries, who can't rely on severely insufficient public transportation.
